It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to a loving wife, wonderful mother, caring sister, and best friend. After a hard fought battle with cancer Pam passed away November 6th. In 1962 she was born in Vancouver, B.C. to Carol and William Sutherland. Pam lived there until she met her proud husband, Roger, in 1984. In 1992, Roger and Pam moved to Quesnel B.C. to buy their first home. After thirteen years in Quesnel they moved to Prince George with the four girls. In 2008 another move came, this time to Victoria, B.C. Throughout Pam’s illness she carried herself with grace and dignity, always with a smile and worrying about everyone else. Pam was always truthful and honest in all of her relationships. She was a giving person who had a good judge of character when she met people.
Predeceased by her father William and brother Gary. Pam is survived by her husband of 19 years Roger and her daughters Brianna, Brittany, Hannah, and Cassy. Her siblings Ron (Debbie), Brenda, Danny, as well as her mother, Carol and step-father George. Sister-in-law Donna (Bill) brother-in-law Wade (Carol) and Bert (Cleve).
A celebration of her life will be held on November 13, 2010 at 11:30 pm at the Hart Pioneer Centre 6986 Hart Highway Prince George, B.C. A huge thank you to the Victoria Hospice Unit, as the care she and the family received was outstanding. Our hearts, will be heavy until the many great memories she gave us push away the pain and sadness. We love you tons, Roger, Brianna, Brittany, Hannah, Cassy and many great friends.
