Pat (Paddy) Ann Lowe

March 29, 2007

On March 29, 2007, Pat (Paddy) Ann Lowe of Quesnel, BC, formerly of Victoria, BC, passed away at G.R. Baker Hospital at the age of 69, with her loving family by her side.

She is survived by her husband Robert Sr.; her four sons and two daughters; Wayne (Lee), and their three children; Wendy (Rick) and their three children; Terry (Tracy) and their three children; Randy (Sue) and their six children; Susan (Edward) and their two children; Robert Jr. (Anna) and their six children; six great grandchildren; her sister Fran and half brother Michael.

Pat and Rob made their home in Quesnel since 1961. Pat’s truly generous personality and open door policy allowed her to take in foster children, boarders, billets and friends, all while raising her own six children.

She loved to travel and was an avid antique store browser. She belong to the Bossom Society of Art, which was evident from the vast collection hanging on her walls. Pat loved her family and kept them warm by knitting Indian sweaters or sewing personal quilts for everyone in the family.

Pat was a Queen bee, a true inspiration to family and friends, with her true Irish spirit offering guidance through confidence, passion, leadership and arms that were always wide open. She touched so many people with her knack to make lasting relationships with everyone she met.

Our Queen Bee will be remembered and loved forever. There will be no services held at Pat’s request. Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to Quesnel Palliative Care Association.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses for the great care they took of Pat while she was in the hospital.
