With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our mother on July 5, 2010. Upon retiring to Victoria in 1989, Pat and husband Gord enjoyed cruising the waters around Vancouver Island, travels around the world, winters in Maui and golfing at home and away. In earlier years she particularly enjoyed curling, both in Edmonton and Quesnel. After Gordon passed in 1999, she took great pleasure in walks and get togethers with her friends from Hospice. She enjoyed the simple things in life and marveled at the view from her home in Cordova Bay each and every day. Pat was predeceased by husband Gordon, grandson Spencer and brother Warren. She is survived by sisters Elaine, Joan and Carol, daughters Maureen, Sandie & Lesley (Dave), grandchildren Dylan, Lindsay (Dale), their father Gene, Brad, Matt (Selena) and great grandson Travis. Mom was a gracious lady and will be greatly missed by her family and many good friends in Edmonton, Quesnel and Victoria. No service by request. A gathering of friends and family will be held July 30 from 1 - 4 pm at her home in Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victoria Hospice, the SPCA or a charity of choice.

It’s not goodbye, but see you later.
