Patricia (Wade) Robertson

Patricia (Wade) Robertson was born August 29, 1923 and passed away February 19, 2007.

Pat was born at Woodpecker to Joseph and Pearl (Waterson) Wade. She spent her childhood at Strathnaver and Quesnel.

She worked at the Avery Clinic, Holley Clinic & G.R. Baker Hospital as an L.P.N.

Pat and her husband, Dave and sons, John and Bob, lived on a small farm in south Kersley. Dave and Pat moved into Quesnel in 1969. She was the first secretary of Kersley Women’s Institute.

Dave and Pat started square dancing in the late 1950s and went on to teach square and round dancing in many areas around Quesnel.

Pat served on the executive of TOPS and belonged to a senior’s quilting group.

Pat loved to babysit, knit, crochet, quilt and garden and was a billet parent for the Quesnel Millionaires.

Dave and Pat did a lot of camping and fishing and particularly liked Mitchell Bay on Quesnel Lake.

Pat could often be seen walking from Johnston Sub. with her little dog.

Pat is survived by her husband Dave, sons John (Connie), Bob (Marjorie), grandchildren Trevor (Michelle), Trent (Melissa), Dwayne (Lori) and Dawna (Brad), 10 great grandchildren, brother Dick (Ann), sisters Jane Scarff and Gerry (George) Fyall and many nieces and nephews.

Thanks to all the staff of Baker Lodge and all who sent cards and condolences.

Pat was cremated and interment will take place at a later date.
