Penny was born January 27 1943 and passed away on March 5, 2006 at 1:00 a.m. after she lost her courageous battle with cancer.
After 7 years of beating the odds she slipped away quietly and peacefully as she lay sleeping with her husband by her side in Nanaimo.

You stood strong and fought hard for us through life.
In your eyes we could do no wrong, you loved us through and through.
We love you and think of you in every passing moment.
We see you in our children, your eyes, your laughter, your soul.
Your love did not just encompass us it reached far beyond.
For all of us left behind your love will live on forever.

Penny is and will always be dearly missed by her surviving family: husband Earl Peters; children Jo-Anne Rea, Victoria Campbell and Clayton Macnair; grandchildren Christine Williams, Jennifer Rea, Sarah Rea, Holley Rea, Natasha Campbell and Devon Campbell; great grandchild Makiya Williams; mother Thelma Drinkwater; sister Arlene Osborne; and brother Glen.
She was predeceased by her father Arnold Drinkwater, sister Diana Lynn Drinkwater and niece Anita Anderson.
