Phyllis was born July 10, 1924 in Milner B.C. and moved to Quesnel as a young girl of 11.
She married Lester Cruikshank November 13, 1946 in Quesnel. She worked as a practical nurse at G.R. Baker for forty years. In between she found time to have seven children: Garfield, Marie, Eileen (Ross), Bill (Florie), Joanne (Dave), Pauline (Gordon) and Heather (Brian).
Phyllis loved to travel and often took her children and grandchildren with her. She was a bargain hunter and loved to garage sale with her family.
She also loved the casino and was fairly lucky. She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Lester, seven children, twenty-eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one brother, Lorne, and two sisters, Olive and Dolly. We miss you and hope your last trip was a great one.
