Priscilla Dean Roberts

Priscilla Dean Roberts, formerly of Dawson Creek passed away January 27, 2007.

Priscilla was born in Bow Island, Alberta on December 16, 1925. She was raised in Lethbridge and in 1944 she joined the war effort and became a WAC.

In Ottawa, Ontario she met and married Harold Roberts and they had four children, Donna, Fran, Jack and Sherri. Pris later moved to Dawson Creek to raise her children and worked for The Bay for many years and Van Hoy Stationery. Pris was a long standing member of the Salvation Army Church in Dawson Creek and the Operatic Society, both of which she loved. Her last years were spent in Quesnel.

Priscilla is survived by her children: Donna (Ron), Jack (Delia), Francis and Sherri (Gaston); her grandchildren; Joelle (Luke), Jeremy, Julie, Robert (Carrie), Mathew (Robin), Gillian, Jonathan, Trinity (Rick), Nathan, Alina and Taryn; her great grandchildren: Bree, Kai, Mady, Liam, Gavin, Tanner and Ella; her brother Donald, sisters Frances and Pauline and her aunt Kathleen.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold, grandson David Hewitt, brother Garold Garrison, parents Lloyd and Marie Garrison and her son-in-law Murray Hewitt.

Priscilla will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life for Priscilla Dean Roberts was held in the Maple Park Alliance Church, Quesnel, BC on February 3, 2007 with a tea following. Pastor Garth Witzke officiated the service and Capt. Teri Wallace of the Salvation Army shared memories of Priscilla.

The families of Priscilla would like to thank each and every one who helped us over this sad time. So many gave of their time and talents, prayers, food, cards and flowers. Thank you and God Bless each of you.
