Purita Vipler (nee deCastro) passed away peacefully on November 13, 2019 at Zion Park Manor in Surrey, BC. She was surrounded by loving family.
Purita is predeceased by her husband Jan Vipler. She will be greatly missed by her son Christopher (daughter-in-law Sharon, grandkids Annika and Janek) and her daughter Tonia (grandkids Sebastian and Sloan) as well as by her large extended family.
Purita was a longtime resident of Quesnel from the mid 1970s to the early 2000s. She was an active member of the St.Ann's Catholic Church, a prominent member of Quesnel's Filipino-Canadian community and a registered nurse at GR Baker Hospital.
The funeral was held at Valley View Funeral Home - 14644 72 Ave in Surrey, BC at 2:00pm November 19, 2019.
