HOOK - Ralph Walter died quietly at his daughter’s home February 3, 2007. Ralph is predeceased by his wife, Virginia, who passed away February 3, one year ago. He celebrated 83 years this New Year’s Eve. He is remembered by his extended family: Lynda Boyes of Prince George; Karen Early of Boulder, CO; Karen Lust of Orangeville, ON; Gael Russell of Kelowna, BC; and Rob Russell of Prince George. He leaves a Legacy of 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his close friend, Doreen Wilson, who brightened his smile this past year. Ralph leaves behind a legacy of beautiful gardens, woodworking, integrity and hard work. He consistently worked towards excellence in his many occupations and interests: farmer, soldier, cannery manager, chicken farmer, square dancer, pipeline welder and fix-it man.
