Jan 30, 1947 - Dec 28, 2017
It is with deep regret the family advises of the passing of Ramona May Strobel on December 28, 2017 after a brief but intense battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rod Strobel, her three children, Brenda Lee Odiorne, Jason Michael Raymond Young and Deana Marie Olfert, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews. Ramona is also survived by her Mother Ramona Dye, Sisters, Susan Hartley, Suzanne Law, April Dye & Barbara Gardey.

Ramona was born January 30, 1947 to Hank & Ramona Teichroeb in Vanderhoof, BC. A sister followed in 1949. In 1952, Hank & his two daughters moved to Quesnel. Ramona remained here the rest of her life.

Ramona worked at the Billy Barker in her early life, then started a tarot card reading business. She was very successful at this for 30 odd years. Ramona was an intense, intriguing & memorable person, quirky & generous; humorous, but above all else, a wife, mother, sister & friend to many.

The family will be having a celebration of life at the Elk's Hall, Quesnel, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, you may contribute to the trust fund set up at Integers Credit Union, Quesnel, for Ramona's husband Rod, who is battling Parkinsons & Dementia.
