Rene's Last Farewell to his Friends and Family ~ Rene Allan Beirness of Quesnel, BC passed away on March 5th from a deteriorated health condition.
Rene was born on January 18th, 1951 to Ted and Eunice Beirness in Quesnel, BC. Rene was a man who lived a simple life, never requiring much to make himself happy. He loved being outdoors and spent many of his years doing just that.
Life found him doing a variety of different jobs which consisted of working for logging companies, cone picking, timber slashing, cutting and selling firewood for many years.
Rene always liked to buy and sell all different types of merchandise, and whoever dealt with him they will tell you he drove a hard deal!
Rene was very close to his Mom, and they spent many years helping each other, whether it was fixing up their yards or going on a road trip together. This all ended when both their health deteriorated.
In Rene's retirement one of his favourite past times was keeping the local deer fat with grain and hay, he would often joke that they ate better than
he did.
We can all remember Rene for his sense of humour over something funny, and his contagious laugh.
Rene leaves behind his four children: Tracy, Tammy, Rob and Jolene, and 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Rene also leaves behind four sisters and one brother. Predeceased by his Dad, Mom and one sister.
