Bob was born on May 20th, 1950 in Penticton, Bob passed away peacefully at the Central Okanagan Hospice House in Kelowna, in the care of family and the dedicated hospice staff on Sunday, June 17 after a courageous journey and fight against multiple illnesses. Bob is survived by his faithful partner, caregiver, and angel at large, Fran Stewart of Kelowna; his mother Irene Pedersen of Kelowna; his two daughters Carmen (Craig) Andow of Quesnel, Mindy (Grant) Schulte of Kamloops, His brothers Larry (Debbie) Pedersen of Victoria, Brian Pedersen of Kelowna , grandchildren Zac, Kyle, Jake, Livvy, his niece, nephews and many other family members. Bob will always be remembered for his strong dedication to his daughters and his deep fondness of his grandchildren. Family was always very important to him, there is little that brought more joy to his life. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the care and support provided by his physician Dr Hart and the incredibly dedicated and caring staff at the Central Okanagan Hospice House.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at East Kelowna Hall on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s name to the Central Okanagan Hospice House on Ethel Avenue in Kelowna.
