On December 30th, 2007 Robert Henry passed away after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. Robert was 63 years old.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory is his loving family; wife, Glenda of Edson, Alta. and their children; Theresa (Danny) Lytle of Carrot Creek, Alta. and their children Megan, Sabrina and Colby; Ellen (Darren) Heuser of Edson, Alta. and their children Kayla, Ashley and Tayler; Dianna (Harold) Tews of Edson, Alta. and their children Candace and Joseph; Debbie (Randy) Dickerson of Tumbler Ridge, B.C. and their children Davin and Kenley. Also surviving is fellow siblings; brothers, Matt Henry of Penticton, B.C. and Pat Henry of Summerland, B.C.; sisters, Dallas (Ray) Woodhall of Vancouver, B. C.; Marge (Don) Woods of Penticton, B.C.; Georgianna (Dave) Ginghell of Mannville, Alta. and Roxanne (Eugene) Sell of Summerland, B.C.
As well surviving Robert is his mother-in-law Irene Chatten of Edson, Alta.; Bob (Marge) Richards of McKay, Alta., Betty (Les) McLeod of Niton Junction as well numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of good friends.
Robert was predeceased by his parents; Herman and Kate Henry, son-in-law Leroy Kidder and grandson Logan Dickerson.
Memorial services for Robert were held on January 5th, 2008 at the Carrot Creek Hall, Carrot Creek, Alta. at 2:00 pm with Reverend Lexi Nash officiating. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment at a later date.
In lieu of a floral tribute the family asks that a donation be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Alta., Edmonton General, Room 3Y18, 11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alta., T5K 0L4, in memory of Robert Henry.
