It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Floyd, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother at the age of 80. Rose and her late husband, Doug Floyd, were longtime residents of Quesnel until their retirement to Brentwood Bay near Victoria, BC. A longtime employee of West Fraser (and later at Quesnel Redi-Mix), Rose was instrumental in the foundation of the company. She is fondly remembered for her diplomacy and wonderful sense of humour. She is survived by her daughter Linda Floyd & son-in-law Ralph Dom of Salt Spring Island, BC; grandson Adrian Dom & partner Melissa Trudel, great-granddaughter Kalliope Dom & step-great-granddaughters Haleigh and Alexis Trudel of Edmonton, Alberta. Rose will be dearly missed by family, friends and all who had the good fortune to meet her.

Two Celebrations of Rose’s Life will be held:
