Rose-Marie Lee (nee Hachey) was born on September 3, 1935 in Quesnel, B.C. and passed away on June 9, 2008.

Marie was raised throughout B.C. with several periods on the Coast but always returned to the Cariboo.

She married her soul mate Henry on February 22, 1954. The early years of raising the family were on the West side of Marguerite, with most of the years on the old Zschiedrich ranch above Kersley.

Marie was a supporter and biggest fan of Henry and the children’s activities. She was most happy when surrounded by family, shopping and traveling.

She retired with Henry in Kersley where she enjoyed ceramics with her many friends and family. In July 2006, Marie and Henry sold the acreage, moved to the Prince George Chateau, where they made many new friends. After losing Henry, her family and her Chateau family were always there for her, but she never got over the loss of Henry.

The family thanks the medical community and many friends who helped support Marie and the family through a lifetime of medical challenges.

Marie will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Henry and son Alex. She is survived by her children Don (Ruth); Heather (Don); Barbara (Eric); Valerie (Bob); Steven; Maurice (Susanna), grandchildren; Heather, Mike, Andrew, Ryan (Nicole), Tara, Morgan, Darin, Cody, Ronnie, Kyle, Tyler, Eric, Eli, Marissa, Samantha and Tony and three great grandchildren.
