With much love and sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Rose McKone, in her 77th year.
Born on April 28, 1934 in High Prairie, Alberta and later moved to Quesnel in 1970, where she married Tom McKone in 1977. Rose peacefully passed on Feb 3rd, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tom, her 8 children, Beverly, Sandra, Debbie, Janet, Connie, Kevin S., Roger and Kevin M. as well as her 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and of course her many friends, which includes the Ladies of the Legion Auxilliary.
Rose is predeceased by her son Bruce.

A Celebration of Rose’s Life was held on Thursday, Feb 9th at the Royal Canadian Legion.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the Dunrovin Hospice Center.
