It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Sheila Williams on Feb. 25, 2012 in White Rock, BC.

Predeceased by her husband Ivor Williams, son Tracy Lessard, step-sons Edward Williams and Larry Williams and beloved granddaughter Jessica Lessard.

Sheila is survived by her son Brian Lessard (Diane), daughter Shirley Blair (Bob), son Terry Lessard (Cindy), daughter Holly Lessard, step-daughter Judi Grover (Bob) and step-son David Williams (Kathy) along with many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sheila was born into the pioneer Johnston family in Quesnel BC. Her working life spanned from homemaker and hair stylist to women’s guard at Burnaby’s Oakalla prison.

Sheila and Ivor moved to Enderby in 1990 where their home was open to all who came for a good cup of coffee and great conversation.

Sheila was a generous soul, with many life-long friends and truly loved by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank Sheila’s niece Avalon Bower for her help over the past year.

Memorial tea will be held on April 1, 2012 from 1 to 5 pm at the Elks Hall in White Rock, BC.
