Mom passed away peacefully in Coquitlam. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred, February 8, 2000.
Sheila and Fred emigrated to Canada in 1957. They eventually settled in Quesnel to raise their family and spent their time teaching and volunteering in the community.
Sheila had a radio program every Monday night called, "The Highland Echoes." She also worked tirelessly as a member and President of the Hospital Auxiliary, a dedication she continued up until 2015.
As one of the originating teachers at Correlieu, Sheila founded the Catering Club which gave her many cherished memories. Her past students will remember her flying down the hallways on her scooter between the food's room and the Catering Club in record time.
A loved mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and aunt, she will be missed by friends and family in Canada and abroad.
