Shirley Ann Decker passed away from cancer on March 12, 2008.
She is survived by her son Matthew, sister Donna, brothers Lorne and Daryl and many great friends and colleagues.
Shirley was born on April 29, 1953 and moved to Prince George in 1978. She attended the College of New Caledonia and became a draftsperson extraordinaire.
She worked at the Ministry of Transportation and the City of Prince George.
She enjoyed making crafts, camping and was a very devoted mother to Matthew. She was a person that did things her way. She said what she meant and meant what she said and we will all miss her immensely.
Shirley has requested a celebration of her life for her family and friends and this will take place at Esther’s Inn in Prince George, B.C. on March 29, 2008 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Sunset Room.
