Shirley Ann Johnson passed away peacefully February 8, 2008 at G.R. Baker Hospital.
Shirley was born in Langley, B.C. April 20, 1941 to parents Bill and Evelyn Benz.
Shirley met and married her husband Lars in Quesnel in 1958 and together raised 5 children.
Shirley loved music, loved to sign and dance, but her greatest love of all was her family.
She loved family gatherings and having all her kids and grandkids home for the holidays. She had a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh that could always get everyone laughing.
Shirley is survived by her husband Lars, children Evie (Ernie) Bassett, Dwayn (Wendy) Johnson, Lae-Vern Doherty, Renai (Randy) Miles, grandchildren Kylie (Cameron) Leeson, Brandi Bassett, Shirleyann (Patrick) Robinson, Amanda Doherty, Trinity, Bradley and KyBran Miles, great grandchildren Chase Leeson and Lilly Robinson, her brother Bill Benz and sisters Pat Loosley and June Noble.
Shirley was predeceased by her son Jamie Johnson in 2006.
