Shirley Louise (nee Harrison), born October 4, 1936, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, July 16, 2004 surrounded by her family and constant companion Princess. Beloved wife of Walter and mother of Susan Gilmour (John) and Mitzi Bradford (Erik Niemi), all of North Vancouver. Loving Gramma of Daniel, Jenny & Samantha. Also survived by her mother Elsie Lundquist of Enderby and brothers Ray Harrison (Joan) of Vavenby, Carl Harrison (Mary) of Williams Lake and sisters Jeannie Eliason and Geddes Brydon (Glen) of Kamloops and many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father Gibson and brother Henry. Shirley had a very happy, caring nature and lit up the room wherever she was. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and travelling. She was loved greatly by her family, friends and pets and will be deeply missed. Everyone she knows feels a part of her with them. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, July 22nd at 10 am at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lilloett Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to Foster Parents Plan or the BC Cancer Agency.
