Born in Poland, she was one of 6 children who immigrated to Canada in 1937. Sophie died peacefully in her sleep on 1 Dec. 2019 in Dunrovin Lodge in Quesnel. She is survived by Ernie her husband of 75 years, brother Joe, children Rosemarie (John), Ron (Susan), Betty (Don) and Annette (Ross), 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Obanye and the many fine caregivers at Dunrovin and Maeford. They made her final years as comfortable as possible.
A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Quesnel on 16 Dec 2019 at 11 am.
