Standly ‘Stan’ Faust

August 28, 1941 – August 23, 2021
His last tree has fell.
Stan was born in Saskatoon, Sask to Bill and Ann Faust; and moved to Quesnel BC to where he called home until his last days.
Stan is survived by his brothers Ron, Doug, and Bob, his sister Linda, sons Doug and Rob, grandchildren Gage (Kayla), Alijah and Lily, nieces and nephew, great grandchildren, aunts, uncle, cousins, and many friends from all walks of life.
Stan’s sons carry on a work ethic that Stan had throughout his work life. Stan’s work skills ranged from falling trees to operating various heavy duty equipment with his class 1 license and he took on all kinds of work challenges; including his favorite which involved building log homes.
Stan was also a very strong believer in God; to which he attended many churches around Quesnel and enjoyed talking about God with anyone who was interested; and even some who weren’t.
The family would like to give their warm hearted thanks to friends Doug and Diane Greenwood for all their ongoing support throughout these tough last few years; also to Gage and Kayla for their ongoing support over the last few years, and to Jennifer Faust for staying in touch and supporting Stan these last years.
Please forgive the family for the other family and friends not mentioned that have also supported Stan throughout his struggles in countless different ways; that may have been forgotten. Also thank you to everyone for their condolences, contributions, and support afterwards to helping Rob and Doug come back to Quesnel to process their father’s death.
There will be a funeral and memorial next summer; due to the Covid restrictions, and Doug or Rob can be reached once dates have been arranged. May God bless everyone and may God bless you dad on your next journey.
