December 1, 1931 - September 30, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Ted Jonasson of Kersley, BC announce his passing. Ted passed away peacefully in GR Baker Memorial Hospital on September 30,2018. Ted leaves behind his loving wife Audrey and children Debra, Michael and Robert. He was preceded in death by his son Dwayne in November of 1994.

Ted was born on a farm near Wynyard Saskatchewan to Magnus and Margret Jonasson. He married Audrey (Forest) in Buffalo Narrows Saskatchewan on August 1, 1959. From 1959 to 1975, Ted worked for the Department of Natural Resources as a conservation officer in Northern Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories. Wanting a change of scenery, he moved his family to Quesnel in 1975 and worked for West Fraser Mills until his retirement.

He was a sports fan and a very avid golfer. He loved to play with his grandkids and was very proud of each and every achievement they made. Ted leaves behind 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. We will always remember his smile, his gentle nature, and his ability to tell a wonderful, often hilarious story. He will be deeply missed by all and will always be in our hearts.

Following cremation, the family will hold a private memorial at a future date.
