Tillie was born in Kelowna, BC, in 1949 and was the oldest of 5 children. Her siblings were Judy, Brian, Sherry-Anne and Gary and her parents were Lawrence and Vi Stubbs.

They were raised in Winfield, BC on Stubbs Road.

Tillie also loved to stay with her Great Grandma Swite and Aunties in West Bank, BC.

Tillie met the love of her life and got married to Ronald Goffic inVernon, BC in 1966. Shortly after they were blessed with children Candace, Trevor and Shauna.

Tillie was always a hard worker, from the garden to quilting and making a house a home.

Tillie loved the work that she did with the Friendship Centre in Kelowna. She became the Executive Director and then moved to Victoria, BC working for the Makola Native Housing also as Executive Director.

Tillie and Ron moved to Quesnel, BC where they started their own business, Pioneer Pawn Shop, which has been in business for the last 20 years.

Tillie loved her life, in spare time she spent quilting, crafting and making clothes for three wonderful grandchildren, Kristina, Arron and Ryan and one great grandchild, Jessica.

Ron and Tillie’s house was always the place to be, coffee was always on and where family and friends would meet to make a full house.

We lost Tillie to the brave battle that she had with cancer on September 20, 2011.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for all the love and kindness shown.

Service is to be held on September, 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service and a tea to follow at the house.
