Vern passed away at Chilliwack General Hospital after a recently diagnosed illness.
He will be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of people, and his gift of the gab. He had a quick wit about him and loved nothing better than to make someone else’s day a little bit brighter by making them chuckle, which he did effortlessly and often.
Vern was pre-deceased by his wife Mary in 2007, three brothers and two sisters.
Vern is survived by his son Terrance (Debra) of Chilliwack and daughter Brenda of New Westminster.
