It is with heavy hearts the family of Verna announces her passing on October 20,2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years , Jack, three daughters who adored her- Maureen, Laurene, Kathleen ( Pedro) ~ seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers and many great lifelong friends.
Verna will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her unwavering love of family, the great outdoors and her wicked sense of humour. Rest in peace Mom -you are dearly loved.
A celebration of Verna's life will be held at a future date and an announcement will be made.
In lieu of flowers please honour Verna's memory by a donation to the BC cancer society or the local SPCA.
