Victoria Zschiedrich

March 10, 2008

Victoria (Lopaschuk) Zschiedrich passed away March 10, 2008 at the age of 91 years.

Victoria was predeceased by Ed, her husband of 63 years and son Harold, as well as her parents and 13 siblings.

She is survived by her son Collin (Cary), five grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family friends.

Victoria was a true pioneer woman, born in Saskatchewan, moving to the Enderby area at a young age, then marrying and residing in the Cariboo for many years and retiring in Granisle.

Victoria always claimed that her life was good as she hunted for deer, operated the family dairy farm in Quesnel, fished in Dragon Lake, picked huckleberries and mushrooms, quilted endlessly, and still found time to raise two sons and have huge dinners at the farm.

She loved nature and was very contented to be in her own company.

Although her choice was to spend much time alone, she always found time for her sons and grandchildren.

By request, there will be no service.

Victoria’s family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Doctor’s Ed Turski and Susan Knoll and the wonderful staff at Jubilee Lodge for excellent care and kindness given to Mom over the past six years.

Thank you to family and friends that have travelled to visit Mom and sent cards a
