It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Viola Wilkins. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Dec. 11, 2009. Viola was born on Nov. 8, 1919 and had just celebrated her 90th birthday. She was predeceased by her loving husband Rolly and son Phillip.
Survived by son Ron, daughter Juanita Parker (Lloyd) in Quesnel, BC, daughter Bev Matthews (Don) in Victoria, BC, older sister Vivian Trenholm in Salmon Arm, BC. Viola also was graced with 12 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Whom will miss her dearly.
Memorial service to take place at St John the Divine church, 1611 Quadra St. in Victoria, Tuesday Dec. 22, 2009 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
