Vi suffered a stroke on Monday, November 1 and passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Dunrovin Hospice House. A memorial service was held at the Claytons Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 6, 2010.

Violet Doreen Rose was the third child in a family of seven born to Robert and Eva Rose.

Violet married Carl Milligan on June 19, 1935. They farmed in Sask. and raised two children Eva and Orville. The family moved to Vancouver in 1952 where Vi worked for the White Spot for 18 years.

To be close to her family that now included five grandchildren VI and Carl moved to Quesnel in 1971.

Vi lost her husband, Carl of 53 years in January 1986.

Family and friends is what meant the most to Vi and it showed with all the love and support she gave. Vi was a sweet and kind person with a smile for everyone.

Vi will be lovingly remembered by:

Grandchildren: Dan (Dar) Milligan, Gayle (Ron) Campbell, Jacquie (Derrick) Smith, Myrna (Sue) McCauley, Kim Milligan (Dean)

Great Grandchildren: Josh (Rachelle), Travis, Courtney, Kyle, Arianna, Alexis, Mariah, Renee, Mikey and Sarah.

Great Great Granddaughter: Zaidee

In lieu of flowers or should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Child Development Centre or the Quesnel Legion Branch 94.
