Born June 11, 1931 in Switzerland and passed away November 19, 2019 in Prince George, BC. Werner was a loving father and grandfather who has left a giant hole in our hearts. He is survived by his son, Mark (Stacey), and his two granddaughters, Sydney and Ava.
While growing up in Switzerland his family consisted of his mother, father, three brothers, and two sisters. Werner had a full and adventurous life. He spent his childhood growing up in Switzerland and went to trade school to be a cabinet maker. He came to Canada with his brother Ted in his early twenties. Upon arrival in Canada he learned to become a log scaler and later ran his own private sawmill. Later in his career he took up various woodworking activities. He also enjoyed helping Jean with her rental properties and process serving business. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and loved to reminisce about his various adventures in life.
He will be missed by his family and friends in both Canada and Switzerland.
He was predeceased by his wife, Marlis Elias.
