With deep sorrow we announce the passing of William James Sanford: husband, father, grandfather and good friend. He passed away peacefully at the age of 60 in Vernon Jubilee Hospital on September 2nd, 2007 with his family by his side.
Bill enjoyed a full and exciting life. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, dancing and had an incredible ability to work with his hands. He was a positive family man and a hard worker with a great sense of ethics and humor. His courage saw him through a brave battle with cancer, with his family always by his side.
He is survived and will be deeply and forever missed by his loving wife, Kathy, son Kelly Sanford (Kim), daughter Valerie (Cory) Torgerson, stepsons Sean, Jeryd and Brad. Also survived by his mother Sue, sister Joan (Steve), brother Alan (Lorraine), grandchildren Jodi, Kirk and Derek, nieces Robin (Ryan) and Reanne, nephews Riley and Ross. Predeceased by his father James in 2004.
Thank you for sharing your love of life, soul and heart with me!
Your soul mate and wife, Kathy.
Till we meet again.
