Wilma Henning passed away peacefully on June 13, 2014 at the age of 97 years. Born in Bladworth Saskatchewan, Wilma was the daughter of Herbert and Mabel Edwards. Wilma grew up on a large farm, married Bud Henning in 1942 and eventually settled in Quesnel.
Wilma will be missed by her children, Myra Horvath of Marysville BC, Bernadine Ouellette (Chuck) and Pam Weiler (Gerry) of Cranbrook BC, Bud Henning (Julia) and Harlene Hunt (Brian) of Quesnel; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Wilma was predeceased by her husband, Bud in 2002 as well as sisters Thelma and Mae and brothers Bert and Bill.
The family very much appreciates and thanks the Dunrovin staff for their kindness, compassion and dedication to our Mom. The family also thanks Wilma’s lovely and valued long time friend, Ingrid Croy, who enriched her life. Wilma was one of a kind.
