On August 19, 2006 at the age of 92, Winnie passed away peacefully at Dunrovin Park Lodge, with family at her side.
She is survived by her four children Donna (Ron) Hewson, 70 Mile House, Carol (Ron) Snowden, Quesnel, Trudy (Willard) Bentley, Quesnel, Trevor (Mabel) Crouse, Vancouver, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews. She was lovingly known and called G.G. for Great Grandma.
Throughout Winnie’s working years she cooked for Vancouver Children’s Aid, UBC Fort Camp, C.N.I.B. Post Office, Vancouver, Louis Brier Jewish Home & Hospital and G.R. Baker Hospital, Quesnel.
In retirement Winnie did much travelling, spending a lot of time with family and was very active in Senior Groups.
Winnie was a very generous and loving mother and friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

No service was held at Winnie’s request. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Dunrovin Park Lodge in Winnie Crouse’s name.
Interment at Tranquility Gardens.
