In loving memory ~ The Family of Yvonne (Cherry) Graf, born June 27, 1934 in Penticton B.C., are sad to announce, her passing Sept. 28, 2021 in Quesnel B.C. Mom left this world on her own terms, as she had lived, in her home, after an active day, in her green house and yard, with Daughter Linnea, and Mom's dear friend Donna at her side.
A long time resident of the Cariboo area, Mom was an out going friendly person, who loved the outdoors, gardening, painting, writing, and a passion for travel, to many places, China, Chile, Peru, Australia, Holland and Africa (where she had traded all of her blue jeans, for African art)Mom's early life at McLeese Lake, was very busy, raising six children, Mom rode motorcycles, horses, water skied, and went hunting with us.
Mom would write out vivid dreams, into short stories, which she later read to us as bedtime stories. Once Mom was on her own, work took her to Kamloops for a short time, but later all summer for many years, were spent in the far north, working for small mining and exploration companies.
Left to mourn Mom, are sons, Dave (Debra), Ken (Belva), Bob (Janice), Len (Edith), Paul (Yvonne) and daughter Linnea (John), 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many dear Friends.
