We have completed two contest nights at the Search for the Golden Throat and all I can say is “wow.”

Our first finalist, Candace, belted out the tunes, finishing with At Last by Ertha Kit. And she nailed it. Jerry and Andy also belted out the tunes and the judges decided that they were too close in delivery and style and they would both be coming back the following week for another try at the finals.

Week two was also a thriller, for Elvis was in the house. Andy did a wonderful version of It’s Now or Never, followed by Better all the Time and has now become our second finalist.

Jerry and Clair also belted out the tunes and will be coming back Saturday to compete for a spot as a finalist.

I am seeing that there is some very good talent out there in Quesnel, so don’t be shy. If you can sing,

come on down to Begbies and nail your spot in the finals.
