Don’t look now, but that really is Serenity on top of the standings, as they are undefeated in regulation since their opening morning loss to the Chevy Crew way back in September.

Their latest success came at the hands of BCS, as they outlasted the Silviculturists in a fast-paced game, 5-2. Having a fine time at both ends of the ice was Cam “Shaft” Graham, who scored two goals, added an assist and a 25-year mortgage with relative ease. Maintaining a snipers-like start to the year was Jordan “Senior” Johnson, who scored his team high seventh of the campaign, as Derek “Breakneck” Burdekin and Colin “Clutch” Keis both added singletons. Meanwhile on the BCS side, they will need more production from their third and fourth lines as Kevin “Baywatch” Hesselgrave with his ninth and Matt “Punisher” Powell with his sixth have scored all but seven of their teams tallies this season.

The contest in the West Fraser Barn saw Fraser River break a close contest wide open as they scored five in the second half to bash Bear in the 8-5 final. Enjoying his most productive game this century was Randy “Killer” Crofts, who reeled off a handful of assists as Ian “Heartbreaker” Hannah matched “Killers” point total with a goal and four apples.

Exploding for his first ever FHL hat-trick was Super “Dave” Penner as Levon “Young Gun” Johnson dropped a pair to go with two assists. Scoring the all-important eighth goal of the game was Eric “Frantic” Stanick, who also collected a duo of helpers.

With their third straight loss, Bear finds themselves in the cellar after being in the penthouse three weeks ago. The robust combo of Lee “Nitro” Naeth and Wade Price “Is right” combined for three goals and an assist as “RCA” Victor Hegan and “King” Richard Lindstrom both dribbled one in for their inaugural mesh ripplers of the year.
