It was a fun day at the golf course in Williams Lake for high school students from across the region.

The Williams Lake Golf and Tennis Club hosted the High School Zone Tournament last week with teams of five golfers from Quesnel, Williams Lake, Prince George and Vanderhoof participating.

Placing second was Correlieu Secondary School represented by Jackson Meneghin, Jack Albrecht, Noah Woollends, Duncan McManus and Alex Fallon.

Albrecht won first place overall with an 84.

“Well done team,” the Quesnel Golf Club wrote on Facebook.

First place in the tournament went to Prince George Secondary School, followed by Correlieu and Duchess Park Secondary School.
