The Quesnel Curling Club sponsor league continued last Wednesday Nov. 15.

Service Electric beat Ski-hi Scaffolding 8-2.

The score sheet comments read: “Service Electric turned the lights out early in this match. Service jumped to a 5-1 lead after three ends and the Ski-hi boys never did get on track.”

Team Child Development Centre beat Karin’s Deli 9-6.

The players said: “Karin’s took six in the fifth end (which would have crippled an ordinary team…) but CDC is no ordinary team.

“The combination of a five-point lead, and a field goal and single in the sixth, allowed CDC to come out on top.”

And Team Billy Barker won against Century 21, with a final score of 6-4.

The teams commented: “A tight game until the Billy Barker team earned three in the sixth. With the hammer in the eighth, they earned one more to win by two.

“The last undefeated team goes down!”

The fun continues tonight at the curling rink.
