The Billy Barker Casino crew were served up an easy meal by the A&W squad as they rolled through the drive-through.

The Billy Barker Casino crew were served up an easy meal by the A&W squad as they rolled through the drive-through.

The casino gang flopped three points in the sixth end to solidify a fairly easy win that left A&W just one shot in the eighth to take the win, but the great root bear couldn’t deliver the fries to complete the meal deal and served up an 8-6 win to the croupiers.

Spectators called the Douglas Lake Equipment tilt against JAR Transport the feature match of the night on center ice.

Unfortunately for JAR the DLE foursome finally played up to their potential.

DLE had JAR in a pickle every end and left and eventually ran them out of stones in the eighth end for a 6-4 win.

Over on sheet B, sweepers from the Child Development Centre left no stone unswept in a close game that saw the CDC hand on to eke out a 5-3 win over Karin’s Deli.

After a reality bites game last week, the Handi Self Storage crew took to sheet D on a mission, to get back in the win column, as they had had their fill of humble pie.

Handi, facing the Service Electric ohmbres, blurted out, “danger, danger, high voltage,” in the third end when they stole four points.

The Electric Company shocked the storage crew with four of their own in the sixth end.

Handi settled down and held on for a 9-6 win.

On sheet A, Investor’s Group silenced Cariboo Pulp with a 6-4 win.
