In the game on the full sheet of ice, BCS was their usual annoying self as they gave up a late lead but still had the last laugh in a 7-6 overtime victory versus Serenity.

Leading his squad all over the ice was “Do as I say not as I do” coach Kevin “Baywatch” Hesslegrave who scored a trio of beauties and added a pair of rare assists. Joining “Baywatch” in the 60-minute shift was Matt “The Punisher” Powell who scored a couple as his lungs expanded to pre-2000 levels.

Meanwhile on the other acre of ice, Serenity put up several comebacks with Chris “Crown” Royle leading the GPSing with a goal and three assists. Also having a productive morning for the Builders was Colin “Clutch” Keis who scored every way but loose for a trio and Jordan “Archie” Johnson who scored twice despite ringing the post twice.

Back in the dim lit Rink 2, Bear wasn’t fooled with Fraser Rivers antics as they won going away in the 7-4 laugher.

Shredding Fraser River early was Lee “Nitro” Naeth who scored his first two of the season as Jason “Firecracker” Foreman took over in the second half with a trio as he assisted on Wade “The Blades” only goal in a 4-point morning.

Also finding the twine for Bear was Brad “Next-door” Neighbour who gassed one and Kris “Haymaker” Hayman, who lumbered one over the line.

Meanwhile back in the garage Fraser River continued to wonder how they could lose two in a row? Their lone answer was Shane “The Pain” Thon who had a goal and an assist to go with a trio of “Come on Man” comments.
