Now is a great time to learn pickleball.

That’s not just a slogan, there is actually a specialist coach coming to Quesnel this weekend. Kristina Lidster from the Kamloops Pickleball Club is the special guest of the Quesnel club. She has set aside a couple of hours especially for newcomers to the sport. All ages, all backgrounds are welcome.

All Lidster’s slots for intermediate and advanced players are taken, but there is an opportunity for beginners to get “Pickleball 101” from a proficient player who has a reputation for fun and motivation.

The available time-slot for beginners is April 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. These workshops take place at Correlieu Secondary School.

For information on attendance fee, what to wear, and what equipment to bring (it is all easy and accessible), please email quesnelpickleball@gmail.com or send a message on the Quesnel Pickleball Club’s page on Facebook.
