Quesnel duffers braved cold temperatures to tee off their golf season, as courses around the region have opened.
The Quesnel Golf Course opened their front nine course on Saturday, April 16, and golfers took advantage. The turnout was huge, despite the fact there was still snow on the ground in areas around the course.
It was a similar story at Richbar Golf and Gardens south of Quesnel. Their 9-hole course opened a day earlier, on Good Friday, April 15.
According to timeanddate.com, the weather on April 15 only reached a high of 7 degrees. April 16 wasn’t much warmer, with the thermostat only reaching 9 degrees in the afternoon.
