Horseshoe club doubles up the fun

Quesnel’s horseshoe pitchers were in full swing Sunday as they hosted their fun doubles tournament that included a potluck lunch when the dust had settled.

Lorenzo Ferrara enjoyed the Sunday sunshine at the Quesnel Horshoe Pitchers Club while taking part in the fun doubles tournament.

Quesnel’s horseshoe pitchers  were in full swing Sunday as they hosted their fun doubles tournament that included a potluck lunch when the dust had settled.

Leading the way was Joe Brietkopf with five wins on the day.

Not far behind, Thelma Stolarski and Cheyann Newman finished second with four wins apiece.

Phil Erickson tossed his way to a third-place finish with four wins and Cheryl Brietkopf hung in for a fourth-place finish.

Orlando Pelizzari tossed his way to a fifth place finish and Lorenzo Ferrara rung up enough ringers to finish in sixth place.

Ted Kupferschmid, Ray Hamel and Marcel Pinette ended up in seventh, eighth and ninth place.

Maurice Cumin didn’t collect any wins, but did receive a bit of cash for finish last.
