Kangaroos defeat Regals in exhibition series

Home opener tailgate party set for Saturday, Oct. 8

The Quesnel Kangaroos and Powell River Regals were on the ice again after 12 years.

The two teams played two exhibition games at the West Fraser Centre on Friday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 1.

Both games were won by the Kangaroos.

Final score for Friday’s game was 7-4 and 8-1 on Saturday.

The Kangaroos will face off against the Williams Lake Stampeders in their first home game of the season on Saturday, Oct. 8. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.

A home opener tailgate party featuring a Roos jersey raffle, dunk a Stampeder, free family games and more is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
