Curl Canada put on its annual two-day curling clinic Tuesday and Thursday at the Quesnel Curling Centre, ahead of the start of the season.
The clinic was a “crash course”, said Curling Club manager Dave Plant.
Plant said attendees on Tuesday were all brand new to curling.
“We put on a clinic before the start of the season for anyone that’s new to the sport and looking to play, to get them out there so they feel safe to go out at the start of the season.
“The new curlers had lots of questions. We let them know that throughout the year we are willing to go out there and work with them if they have more questions.”
The curling season begins in Quesnel on Tuesday, Oct. 10.
