Boroka Peter doesn’t plan to slow down after bringing home two medals from the BC Summer Games in Prince George.

She won bronze in F1 triathlon and mixed relay triathlon on Saturday, July 23.

”It was a great experience,” Peter said. “I met a lot of new people, and it was fun to be around people who enjoy the sport as much as I do.”

Watching Peter compete was her family and friends of Quesnel.

Peter completed her first triathlon when she was just eight years old.

While some of her triathlons have been just for fun, Peter said she enjoys competing against others in high-intensity racing.

Peter also partakes in downhill skiing and competed in alpine skiing at the Fort St. John 2020 Winter Games.

She intends to remain active for the remainder of the summer with soccer and getting ready for the ski season.

“And hopefully do another triathlon or two,” she added.
