The Quesnel Technics Gymnastics competitive team has had a busy and successful competitive season this year. They attended their first in-person competition in three years in March and have been on the road ever since.

The athletes have polished their routines and improved their skills with every competition and their hard work has paid off as they have attained personal best scores, crushed goals, overcome fears, gained confidence, and received a staggering number of medals, ribbons and special awards.

The team consists of 52 athletes in both the CCP program and the new Xcel program. The athletes in Xcel are excelling, to say the least, while those who stayed in the CCP program continue to shine. There are too many placings and awards to mention, but the attached photo with the team and all their ribbons, medals and awards shows how well the team has done this season.

This weekend, June 17-19, the team will be attending the Whistler Summer Classic competition which is their last competition of the season and one of the only competitions across Canada where athletes compete outside. There are 18 athletes from Quesnel going and they are excited and working hard to stay focused and finish off the season strong. We wish the best of luck to our athletes headed to Whistler!
