The Quesnel Ladies Best Ball recently donated proceeds from their tournament last month.
The 55th annual Ladies Best Ball Tournament was held Saturday, Aug. 20, and Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Quesnel Golf Club.
Enjoying the beautiful weather were 60 ladies from Kamloops to McKenzie.
Proceeds from 50/50 draws were presented to Jumpstart, which received $1,440, and the Quesnel and District Hospice Palliative Care Association, which received $782.50 after being topped up by Glenda Graham.
Marj Watt and Shannon Coffey from Quesnel beat out Shirley Halliday and Jody Buryn from Prince George, in a sudden death playoff for the Barb Smith Marj Jefferson Low Net Trophy.
Gina Alexander and Tammi Caferra of Williams Lake won the Nita Lane Low Gross Trophy.
