The love of hockey and the passion to help will meet up at centre ice on Feb. 7.

Quesnel & District Minor Hockey Association (QDMHA) will hold its Annual General Meeting with plenty on the agenda, reflecting the busy nature of the local youth hockey world now that the COVID freeze has melted and kids are back doing all the things around the rink they did before the pandemic’s slowdowns and lockdowns.

The meeting will take place in the Dunkley Room inside West Fraser Centre starting at 7 p.m.

It is also possible to attend virtually by logging in to meet.google.com/fst-smcf-sgd and participating on your devise.

The current board of directors advises that there are many positions on offer, and many other ways to help beyond sitting at the board table. Some of the positions include president, vice-president of House hockey, treasurer, discipline coordinator, coach coordinator, directors, communications-website overseer, and many others. Whatever your skills or your passion level, there are ways to help QDMHA.

The meeting invitation is for all interested in youth hockey, not just those thinking of a volunteer position. This is a once-per-year opportiunity for votes and for voice. Attendees will be in the running for some door prizes, including one free registration, a $150 discount off registration, or $100 discount off registration.

If there are any items to present on the agenda, notice must be made in writing as soon as possible by emailing qdmha@shaw.ca.
